Sometimes as a parent, you are easily moved to pity to behold the enormity of rejection our Lord faces today. The rejection came even from his close associates and ministers such as priests, Bishops, and Religious.
In these cases, we begin to pity Jesus and even mourn for Him the way the Holy women of Jerusalem did. “But Jesus turned and said to them, “Daughters of Jerusalem, don’t weep for me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. Look, the days are coming when people will say, ‘Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore, and breasts that never nursed!’… Lk 23: 27 – 29.
Jesus has more reason to tell the parents of today to cry for their children when we consider the spiritual and moral mutilation these children undergo today all in the name of this false woke culture and the LGBT propaganda.
Jesus does not cry over himself but over the beloved city (the Church) where prophets have announced the Word of God. That which is a very painful thing to Our Lord, is their total ignorance of the roads that lead to true peace, although they always talk of how to realize this peace among men. True peace is not symbolized by flowers or by the rainbow arc of the Gay Pride movement.
In fact, true peace is not the absence of war or false solidarity among men. No! True peace can only exist when man responds to the exigences of God. The false prophets of today identify true peace with the ability to choose evil and offend God.
Behold the reason why Jesus wept over Jerusalem for not having recognized the message of peace. The false prophets and the antichrists worsen the situation by hiding the Gospel truths. Today Jesus tells us that they have turned His Father’s house into a den of robbers (Mk 11: 17). They are murderers because just like Satan, they want to snuff out the life of grace in souls.
Today the False Prophet and the Antichrist do not fight Religion frontally. They are too intelligent to resolve to that method. The Devil has produced and created a false Christianity, so similar in appearance to true Christianity that even true Christians are afraid to speak against it.
We have been clearly told that:
For the time will come when men will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires…
2 Timothy 4: 3
They will reject the truth and chase after myths. We live in a period when this is so diffused: on the internet, on YouTube, Google, and the web as a whole. False and famous preachers of the Antichrist make this “itchiness of the ears” a lucrative art, a well-paying business. For them, it’s all about the Benjamins.
The Antichrist will be a flag bearer in the Society in which we live, he will preach peace, brotherhood, and liberty without Truth. He will try to seduce the intelligent and learned ones, for example, the masters and doctors of Civil and Canon Law.
St. Paul calls him the man of sin (2Thess 2. 8 -17). By their fruits, you shall know them (Mt 7: 16) not definitely by their leaves; by their works, not by their discourses! Today the false prophets through their preaching succeed in advancing their heresies and they are very appreciated by the world while the true prophets are generally cursed and derided, calumniated, and humiliated. The false prophet has gradually and in a subtle manner led to a general Apostasy.
There were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves (2Pt 2: 1).
It was Pope Benedict XVI who stated that “The denial of God and the denial of His Love, carries in itself, a chastisement”. For this, it is said that sin carries with it, as a just consequence, Chastisement, whether it be on an individual level or be it on a collective level.
If you do not repent you will all perish (Lk 13: 3). Therefore, there is no need to wait until the end of time to be converted, better to do it now, tomorrow may be too late.
